Space Features of the Week (12 August)

In the latest weeks I couldn’t do my usual science &space round-ups, so here it is, with some recent and less recent, but still worth reading, news.

The new probe now heading to the Sun and when it comes from. Eugene N. Parker predicted the existence of solar wind in 1958. The NASA spacecraft is the first named for a living person… and it is going now. Read the story here. For more about Parker’s solar probe, this is a good link.

The Perseid meteor show is tonight. Learn how to watch it and take awesome snapshots on this NASA link.

Finally, this is not an article but actually a free online course about the amazing moons of our Solar System. Learn more about Europa, Titan, Triton and the other fascinating worlds our there.
