Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
β’ Grab your current read
β’ Open to a random page
β’ Share two (2) βteaserβ sentences from somewhere on that page
β’ BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesnβt give too much away! You donβt want to ruin the book for others!)
β’ Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Thatβs my choice of the day:
βThe path I choose through the maze makes me what I am. I am not only a thing, but also a way of beingβone of many waysβand knowing the paths I have followed and the ones left to take will help me understand what I am becoming.β
[Note: One of the best, and most famous, SF novels ever. I read it from time to timeΒ to remind myself why I love this genre so much -and it still gives me shivers.]

This is one of my favorites too. Have you seen the movie? I have a thriller this week. The teaser on my adult blog comes from A Voice from the Field by Neal Griffin. Happy reading!
Hello Kathy, actually no – need to have a look! Thanks for mentioning it.
What an interesting teaser!
Ah! I have not read this classic, though I’m aware I should do so – especially as you love it so much. Thank you for swinging by earlier and commenting on the Tom Pollock offering:)
Hi, thanks – I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. And for a writer there’s an added bonus – you see the MC evolving just by looking at the way his language changes, page after page. Had I thought I could write, that one would have made me desperate π
Wow! I love profound thoughts that make you sit and think. I also slipped over to Goodreads to get the synopsis and this sounds like an utterly amazing concept. I went right away and bought it from Amazon. Thanks for that. Here’s my link for intro and teaser this Tuesday: http://wp.me/p4DMf0-1aM
Yes, it’s quite an amazing (and original) book – if you think it has been written in 1959. Certain things have no age π
This is one of those unforgettable books I read many years ago. I not only loved the book, I also enjoyed the movie (“Charly”) based on the book. A great story.
My Tuesday post features THE GIVER.
Hello Sandra, funny enough I’ve never watched the movie – I need to catch up.
How funny – I was just looking at a copy of this in the bookshop today. I might just have to go back and pick it up π
My teaser is from Promise of Blood by Brian McClellan
You won’t regret it, promise π
