During this Christmas break (still ongoing) I was thinking about the most amazing videos I have watched in 2014, and there are many that qualify in this sense. This year has been remarkable under many aspects, for a start. Also, thanks to this blog, I had the incentive to research and find old ones.
After some indecision, I decided this is the one that takes the crown:
This video shows the real view of Titan as seen by the European Space Agency’s Huygens probe whilst descending to the surface. Huygens was the first spacecraft to land on an alien moon, and this is really worth an Academy Award.
