As every year, Edinburgh Book Festival is the writing event to look forward to in the summer. It is one of the largest public celebrations of the written word in the world, bringing to Scotland more than 1000 writers from around the world every August.
The date for this year is 11-27 August, and you can have a good look at the programme here (I recommend booking online to avoid the queue at the entrance).
Also, don’t forget: the Book Festival is part of Edinburgh’s Fringe, and if you’re in town, it is something you don’t want to miss. See you there!
