It doesn’t look as if another year passed by from the last time I have posted about a blogversary. Sure, if 2021 was challenging, 2022 has been harrowing. So much went the wrong way that some of us started actually regretting Covid-19 months of lockdown (possible? possible). I read today the Collins Dictionary selected as word of the year the term ‘permacrisis’. I can see why. Another expression got favoured, too: goblin mode. Which speaks volumes about the dominant mood right now.
The Jade Rabbit (my blog icon) inspires optimism, though. I am no Moon goddess (the mythical Chang’e) but I do hope it will keep company for another year. Just to make ten.
Have a great end of the year, everybody.
Wherever you are and what your personal struggle is right now, you all deserve some rest and a joyful time ahead.
Happy Blogversary! And here’s to hope for some less challenging times….
Indeed. I am now getting back to what it used be. Thanks so much!
Congrats on 9 years! It has been a year, that’s for sure. Hoping as always at this time of year that the coming year will be a good one
Thanks so much!
Congratulations Steph! Yes this year has been awful, and it never seems to get any better – let’s try again on Jan 1st!!
Yes, you’re so right. Thanks!
Yay, happy 9 years! Here’s hoping the next year will bring some better things!
Many thanks. I hope year #10 will be better than the last 2 (the room for improvement is huge)
