Frozen Wavelets and various updates

It seems ages since the last time I have posted here, but it has (only) been about a month. Many things happened in this time, one being finalising the decisions for the last round of submissions to Frozen Wavelets and preparing the lining up for issue #7, which is going to be published in December.

I have also battled poor health and an exceptionally busy time at work…who has ever said November is a boring month?

So, for the updates: all submissions have received a reply by now. If you didn’t get one, it is the time to query. Contracts for the accepted pieces are being currently prepared and will be emailed starting from next week. Cover reveal for Issue #7 is announced for the first week of December. (We’re still searching for someone to replace the other editor who left at the beginning of the year. Announcement about this to come later on).

For what concerns me as a author, I had a productive month, with an event recorded with my publisher (Luna Press Publishing) for the launch of the 2022 novellas –including mine, a mix of historical horror and SF–which should be available on Youtube in February. What else? Yes, working with my agent to get my historical novel finalised and ready to submission.

That’s the sum-up of a month of semi-hiatus. With health on the recovering path and the end of the first term approaching at work, I look forward to resuming more regular posts on my blog, including my reading suggestions ‘Three for the Month’. Who doesn’t need books to read for Christmas?

Take care all in these difficult times!
