Perseverance and an amazing Space February

This month we’ve been truly spoiled with (space) wonders. After the UAE’s Hope and the Chinese Tianwen-1 safely entering the Martian orbit, NASA Perseverance treated us on 18 February with a spectacular descent to the Jezero crater, where it is going to investigate, and hopefully prove once for all, the past existence of alien life on the planet.
If you have missed Perseverance’s descent, you can still get a glimpse from the NASA website (it is amazing, I promise– just go here).

In the following weeks, we’re going to receive more and more updates –including what that little nimble helicopter (in the picture above) thinks about flying up in such a different atmosphere compared to Earth.

On the other hand, if you’re already wired and up to speed, this is the first video our newcomer has just sent over and that NASA is broadcasting live today.

Stay tuned.

There is nothing more exciting than watching images from another planet – no matter how barren and deserted… 🙂
