Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted at The Purple Booker.
Anyone can play along by doing the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
“The only real difference between a wise man and a fool, Moore knew, was that the wise man tended to make more serious mistakes—and only because no one trusted a fool with really crucial decisions. Only the wise had the opportunity to lose battles, or nations.”
(~ “Clear and Present Danger” by Tom Clancy, Kindle Edition, 1989)
[ Back to the classics with a vintage Clancy – one of the best, pure adrenaline spy thriller. Also one of my favourites – I was only disappointed that the movie didn’t make it justice,]
PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post, or share your ‘teasers’ in a comment here and/or in The Purple Booker.
Ah… this one takes me back. I really enjoyed reading this – though I have to say I’m not much of a fan of his later stuff…
True, especially the ones that look like videogames 🙁
