Teaser Tuesday (September 20)

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Books and a Beat.

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

“I have noticed that even people who claim everything is predetermined and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road. Although in principle we know the equations that govern the whole of biology, we have not been able to reduce the study of human behaviour to a branch of applied mathematics.”

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post, or share your ‘teasers’ in a comment here and/or in Books and a Beat’s blog.

This sounds wonderful. I have been a fan of Hawking’s for years. My teaser comes from Body on the Bayou by Ellen Byron. Happy reading!

Impossible not to like Hawking’s writing, I think. Going to get and check yours, thanks.

    What a great quote.

I was just thinking Stephen Hawking is one guy who could narrate his own audiobook without ever having to spend any time in the studio… just have TTS software read it in his usual voice…
