Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
“We are all alone in our own life-world, flying through the universe at great speed. Humans are lucky not to face that – If they don’t.”
( ~ Aurora by Kim Stanley Robinson, 2015, Kindle edition)
[Note: One of the best books I’ve read so far about space exploration and its hurdles, from the author of the amazing Mars Trilogy].
PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post, or share your ‘teasers’ in a comment here and/or in A Daily Rhythm’s blog.
Awesome teaser! And what an interesting book this sounds . . . Thanks for sharing, I’ll keep this title in mind!
Here’s my TT 🙂
Thanks Silvia, this book is amazing!
I’m not sure it’s lucky.

Agreed…! 😀
Quite intriguing. Here’s mine: http://wp.me/p4DMf0-Zp
Thanks, going to check it out.
I have this checked out from the library but have not started it yet. Instead I am reading Brandon Sanderson’s new book set in the mist worlds.
Sanderson is great for fantasy. KSR is more of hard SF, but great as well…!
I really want to read more KSR! And I love this teaser.
My Teaser
Thanks – you’re going to like it. KSR at his best!
I haven’t read anything by that author for a long time. I’ve kind of drifted away from hard science fiction. The teaser on my adult blog comes from a new military thriller – Tenacity by J. S. Law. Happy reading!
The book sounds really interesting. I’ve recently read ‘The Martian’ and it left me with quite an appetite for space books ^^
Hello Lia, this one is of a different kind (btw, I loved the Martian, and I’ve written a review) – but you can as well admire KSR’s rigour.
Hello Kathy, you might enjoy it anyway. It appeals to more than just science buff types like me 😀
This is on my list of sci-fi books to read next month! I’m quite excited.
You’ll like it, for sure 🙂
