Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
That’s my choice of the day:
“The difference between virtuality and life is very simple – in a construct you know everything is being run by an all-powerful machine. Reality doesn’t offer this assurance, so it’s very easy to develop the mistaken impression that you’re in control.”
( ~ Broken Angels, by Richard Morgan, 2003, Kindle edition.)
PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post, or share your ‘teasers’ in a comment here.
Thanks for sharing. Not sure if this one is for me. Here is myy TT

Thanks! Going to check it out.
Thought provoking. It’s true. Although one could argue that we are in control of at least some portions of our lives.
Indeed. In that context, however, it makes totally sense, in a frightening way…
Ha ha. He/she has a point.
I guess so 🙂
It’s a trap I often fall into, thinking that I am in control!
Do you like books with dogs? Here’s my teaser from a mystery that I really enjoyed. Funny, fast moving and engaging: http://pdworkman.com/excerpt-from-dog-tags/
I have a greyhound actually, so yes, I go to have a good look at yours!
Great teaser and very true. My teaser this week comes from the urban fantasy Magic Lost Trouble Found by Lisa Shearin. Happy reading!
I love urban fantasy – going to check it out. Thanks for sharing.
I like to think I’m in control, but in reality, I control very little. I do like that teaser and I’m curious about the book.
Richard Morgan is one of the best SF/cyberpunk/thriller new authors – worth having a look at!
Fascinating teaser (what makes it a teaser after all.)
Other book is even better 😉
Yep, they make a good point. Hope you’re enjoying it.
