SF Classics – Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card

Ender’s Game (1985) by Orson Scott Card is a military SF novel, and one of the most famous books of this genre, with sequels, comics and even a recent movie adaptation. A future Earth faces the menace of an insect-like alien species, and gifted children – Ender is one of them – are being trained to destroy them. A fascinating and very quotable reading, featuring some controversial characters as a bonus (my favourite is the brilliant sociopath Peter Wiggin). Winner of Hugo and Nebula Awards.
