SF Classics – Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card

Speaker for the Dead (1986) by Orson Scott Card, is a SF novel and the sequel of Ender’s Game, even though the events take place long after. It features an universe with human colonies, aliens and ansible-type technology for superluminal travel and communication. More complex and philosophical than the other, it’s considered by many OSC’s best book, and probably the most original one. Winner of Hugo and Nebula Awards.

I loved Ender’s Game but Speaker for the Dead grabbed me and wouldn’t let go. So thought-provoking in a no-easy-answers way. Hope lots of SF readers discover it and love it, too! Cinda
