Teaser Tuesdays (June 30)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm.

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

That’s my pick:

“We hope for sympathy in a violent, damning, world, all that we’ve known and experienced in real life—as opposed to phantom memory. We long for confirmation and completion and justification—and we also long to survive and learn that our reckless existence has meaning.

( ~ Hull Zero Three, by Greg Bear, 2011 e-edition.)

Almost as intriguing as the teaser is the name of the book. I want to know what it means!

My teaser this week is from an inspirational novel, which I really enjoyed:

Very thought-provoking. My teaser on my adult blog comes from this romantic suspense title – Hell or High Water by Julie Ann Walker. Happy reading!

The book’s title and cover grabbed me, and the Teaser makes me wonder how your Teaser fits in with the story. I hope you’re enjoying the book.
    My Tuesday post features SERENA.

I read several of his books back in the 90s or so when I was on a sf kick. Glad you came by my TT at http://wp.me/pZnGI-nN and left the link.
